ABOUT A13
I’ve spent the better part of three decades working in motion, design, and post-production — helping ideas take shape and find their rhythm on screen.
In the late ’90s, I co-founded A13 in New York City, where I stepped into a leadership role across creative direction, production, and client collaboration. It was an immersive way to learn how projects move from concept to completion — balancing creative ambition with schedules, budgets, and real-world constraints.

Since then, I’ve collaborated closely with ad agencies and production companies across commercial broadcast, theater, corporate stages, and live event environments. Along the way, I’ve occasionally directed on-set shoots and developed projection and motion content for live productions — experiences that have shaped my storytelling and logistics capabilities.
I tend to approach every engagement as part of a larger system. Whether I’m brought in to design motion graphics, shape the edit of short-form video, or develop the overall visual look and feel of a project, I’m interested in understanding the full purpose of the work — who it’s for, where it lives, and what it needs to accomplish. That perspective helps ensure what I create aligns with the bigger picture, not just the immediate task.
Reliability is just as important as creativity. I’m comfortable working within timelines and budgets, and I value clear communication and alignment from the start. Creative work rarely moves forward in a straight line, and every project brings different personalities and pressures. I focus on building trust and helping teams move toward a shared outcome, even when approaches differ.
Outside of the digital world, I work with reclaimed and found materials — assembling weathered objects into new forms and patterns. That process mirrors how I approach motion and design: bringing order to disparate elements and letting structure emerge.
I’m also continually exploring new tools and workflows, including AI-assisted processes that expand how ideas are developed and executed. Whether working with motion, space, sound, physical materials, or emerging technology, I’m drawn to rethinking what exists and shaping it into something more intentional.
